The 702 Virtual Walk the Talk event is for the fun and entertainment of all participants.

Entries Entries are open up to 8 November 2020 only. Online entries only, with no option to pay later. Methods of payment allowed are: Credit Card or Debit Card - both are accessible from the online entry system
Cost of entry 3km, 5km & 10km R60
No person under 16 years of age may participate in this event without written consent from their guardian. By entering participants should ensure they have consent from parents/guardians
Minors Persons signing this entry form as guardian of a minor hereby consent to such minor being bound by the aforementioned parties to the extent. If any, to which such minor is not capable of waiving his/her rights as stipulated above. 
Cancellation and refundsRegistration for the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk is binding and entry fees are non-refundable. 
All entry fees include 15% VAT.A portion from every 3km, 5km and 10km entry will be donated towards purchasing 3-ply masks for selected registered charities in Gauteng.
Important Notice Each entrant will be able to choose their personalised name as a unique identifying walk number that they can print. The name provided by the entrant in the Nickname field of entry form will be used (limited to 8 characters).

Number Collection There will be no number collection prior to the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk event and entrants must print their personalised number.   
Medals All finishers will receive a commemorative medal on completion of the walk, and all medals will be available for collection at selected stores to be published on the az.oc.207%40klatehtklaw.www and www.peaktiming.co.za websites or alternatively you have the option to have your medal sent via courier at the published price. Road Closures There will be no road closures on route, therefore all participants are encouraged to observe and follow the rules of the road and all participants should follow the Covid-19 rules and regulations at all times during their walk.
Water Points There will be no waterpoints to offer hydration on any route, all walkers should ensure they stay hydrated during their walk.
Medical Medical will not be available on any route of your choice. All walkers to ensure they are healthy and fit to participate before taking part on the day of the walk.
SubstitutionsNo participant may able to substitute their personalised number that will be made online
Third Parties If you are entering for any person other than yourself (“third party”) then by accepting these terms and conditions, you do so being duly authorised by the third party to accept the terms and conditions on such third party’s behalf and you agree to indemnify the organisers and their representatives harmless against all claims. 
All participants are responsible for the following:● Determining their own route and ensuring they complete the correct total distance as selected in their entry. An entrant can amend their distance by logging back into their entry or when capturing the final distance and time.● Ensuring that they conform to all local laws under the Covid-19 restrictions in their area.● Upload their results using the personal upload link emailed to each of the entrants● Entrants must upload their times by the latest 10th November 2020 23h59 in order to receive their medal and certificate.● Merchandise purchased online will be sent by courier within 9 weeks after the event.● Courier cost is for SA entries only. International merchandise purchases must be collected from the event and such courier be arranged by international entrants.● All entrants participate at their own risk and will not hold Primedia, Peak Timing (Pty) Ltd, any partners or relevant charities responsible for any loss or injury of any nature

Waiver & Indemnity Waiver: Participants take part entirely at their own risk and agree that they shall have no claim whatsoever against the Primedia Broadcasting and Peak Timing (Pty) Ltd, any individual, the sponsors, in respect of any loss or damage whatsoever which participants may suffer arising from any injury to their person or loss or damage to their property as a result of, or arising out of, whether directly or indirectly, or other function thereof, however such loss or damage may arise. Persons signing this entry form as guardian of a minor hereby consent to such minor being bound by the aforegoing and further indemnify the organisers and parties to the extent, of any, to which such minor is not capable of waiving his/her rights as stipulated above. Persons taking part in the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk and whose entries were made on their behalf are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation in the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk.  
Indemnity: The participant agrees to abide by the rules of the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk, which include the payment of the entry fee and confirms that she/he has read them, and understands that she/he takes part in the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk at his/her own risk and indemnifies Primedia Broadcasting, Peak Timing (Pty) Ltd and any sponsors against any claim which may result from his/her participation. The participant further understands that it is his/her responsibility to be medically fit to take part in the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk. In entering the 702 Virtual Walk the Talk, the participant understands that the Primedia Broadcasting and Peak Timing (Pty) Ltd will take photographs of the event including participants to the event and she/he consents to such photographs being taken at the event and being used for promotional and publicity purposes at the Organising Committee’s sole discretion. The participant further understands and accepts that the photographs are and will remain the property of the sponsors and/or organisers. I acknowledge that my entry will be rejected if any fields on this entry form are not fully completed.
Privacy: The personal information which is collected from you and processed by Primedia Proprietary Limited and/or its race organiser is done solely with your consent and in accordance with the Primedia Privacy Notice, available at www.primedia.co.za. The personal information which you provide to us in completing the online entry form will be processed purely for legitimate Primedia business. We will not share your personal information further unless Primedia Proprietary Limited so requires in terms of law or in terms of a legitimate business purpose.
Subscriptions and/or Opt-in’s: All entrants to this event (paid / unpaid) will receive event related newsletters and/or marketing mail or sms communications. Please note that in the event that you have selected to unsubscribe and/or opt-out of receiving any newsletters and/or marketing mail or sms you will still receive communication regarding logistics relating to the event you have entered.
